All of our initial meetings with tutoring students begin with an assessment of the students current level of GMAT experience and readiness, which will be done both objectively by having you take a practice test and subjectively by asking questions about your preparation background. From this initial assessment the tutor will begin to adapt the typical syllabus to take advantage of your strengths and to address your most immediate needs.
Tutoring sessions general take 3 forms: instructional, Q&A, and strategy. Any of these elements may occupy the entire tutoring session or just a few minutes. Instructional sessions teach new content and approaches, Q&A sessions focus on answer specific questions from test/practice questions that the student has most likely already learned how to approach, attempted and reviewed. Strategy session focus on providing holistic guidance and addresses pacing, study strategies, syllabus, etc.
