GMAT Workshops Syllabus:

Session 1: Topic Introduction, Approach, and Application

This session in each topic-specific workshop will introduce the relevant tools and strategies, as well as Bell Curves' approach(es) for question types used to test the given topic. We will also apply the approach(es) to a variety of example questions to help hone application and execution abilities on questions testing this topic content.

Below is the content that will be covered for each of the respective topic-specific workshops:

  • Sentence Correction

    Our Sentence Correction workshop will cover all the grammar rules that are tested, provide recognition keys for those rules being tested, and equip you with the skills to answer questions based on knowledge rather than sound.

  • Critical Reasoning

    Our Critical Reasoning workshop will introduce the common logical structures and fallacies, show you how these structures and fallacies are tested, and provide you solid strategies for accurately answering all question types.

  • Reading Comprehension

    Our Reading Comprehension workshop will provide you with a clear picture of how reading comprehension is structured, equip you with powerful strategies to get the most out of the parts of the passage you read, and provide you a process by which to maximize your comprehension while minimizing the time spent reading.

  • Data Sufficiency

    Our Data Sufficiency workshop will provide you a unique process for approaching DS questions. This process will allow you to properly leverage the knowledge you have to this unusual question type. Before joining this workshop its highly recommended that you master GMAT math rules and formulas, in order to be able to utilize those rules and formulas in the new context.

  • Statistics

    Our most popular math workshop, the Statistics Workshop covers Combination-Permutations, Probability, Overlapping Groups, and Standard Deviation. We will demonstrate how to approach each of these question types in the most basic form, and then incrementally demonstrate how the difficulty is increased. Participants who register for this workshop should have at least a 40 on the quantitative section.

  • Arithmetic

    Our Arithmetic Workshop provides detailed focus on Work and Rates, Averages, Mixtures, Ratios, Profit and Money, and Interest problems. Not only will we provide effective approaches but we will provide you with drills and practice that will enable you to recognize and efficiently answer the most common variations of these topics.

Session 2: Question Review and Challenge Questions

The second session of each topic specific workshop combines a thorough Q&A to review questions and instruction on a number of challenging questions for that topic.
